Plant Health Care Technicians
This job requires a basic knowledge of tree and shrub identification, insect and disease ID and some plant maintenance practices. Many applicants have a 2 or 4 year degree in horticulture, soil science, plant physiology, forestry or, arboriculture. Must have or be able to get PA pesticide applicators license within 45 days of hire and, this job requires the ability to drive a truck.
Climbing Arborists
This is a job for the adventurous – a great career for the right person. Experience is preferred but not required (we will train). You will be working on the front line climbing and pruning some of the nicest and magnificent trees in the Harrisburg, York and Lancaster PA area. Other qualifications include a valid drivers license (we do drivers checks) and have or be able to get a CDL within 45 days of hire. If you are a Certified Arborist that is highly regarded at Good’s, if you work for us and are not certified we will help you become a Certified Arborist! Arborist Representative
This is a job that requires good communication skills, (written and verbal), ability to use a computer and MS Office, knowledge of ornamental insect and disease problems as well as plant diagnostic skills. 3 to 5 years experience required along with a degree in arboriculture, horticulture, plant physiology, forestry or, soil science (and any related field of study). Sales experience and ISA certification a must too.
