Bob Good
Founder & President

Bob Good has been a trusted provider of science-based tree care in South Central Pennsylvania since the early 1990s. Recognizing a growing need for professional Plant Health Care services, Bob built a company focused on expert pruning, pest and disease management, and sustainable landscape practices. In 2011, he expanded services to include comprehensive lawn care. Bob was one of the first in the region to earn the Certified Arborist designation from the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), maintaining his certification since 1988. In 2005, he led Good's Tree Care to become the first company in the area accredited by the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA), reflecting a strong commitment to safety, quality, and ethical business standards. With a degree in Forestry from SUNY Cobleskill and a Landscape Contracting degree from Penn State University's inaugural class, Bob brings deep knowledge and passion to every project. Today, he works alongside his sons, Mitch and Ross, continuing the family tradition of excellence. When he's not working, Bob enjoys traveling, hunting, fly fishing, and skiing.
Jon Schach
General Manager

Jon Schach serves as General Manager and Lead Consulting Arborist for Good's. He has worked in the tree care industry for 30 years, first as a production arborist and later in sales and consulting. Jon often reflects that turning people on to the beauty of trees has been the most gratifying aspect of his career. Now in business leadership, the gratification comes from helping develop the next generation of arborists and landscape professionals. Jon is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist PD-1580B. Jon also serves as the President of the Lebanon Valley Conservancy, and enjoys biking, canoeing, and spending time with his family.
Mitch Good
Arborist Sales Representative

Mitch grew up climbing trees in the backyard like many other kids. After two summers in high school working for Good's learning how to climb with ropes and saddles, he knew he wanted to pursue a career in arboriculture. Mitch went to the University of Massachusetts and earned an Associates Degree in Arboriculture and Community Forestry, and a Bachelors in Natural Resource Conservation focusing on Urban Forestry. He pursued his passion for travel through internships in Denver, Nantucket, and Oxford, England, before joining Good's full time in 2018. Mitch spends most of his free time outdoors with his family, friends, and dog.
Eric O'Neal
Arborist Sales Representative

Eric is a graduate of Penn State University, where he received both a Bachelor's degree in forest science and Master's degree in plant pathology, with a focus in forest pathology. Eric has worked within the tree care industry and provided professional consultations and solutions for tree, shrub, and lawn care needs since 2014. Outside of work, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, fishing, caring for his own landscape at home, and propagating trees for fun.
Matt Seewald

Matt holds an Associate's degree in Forestry from Penn College. His strong horticultural background, paired with a genuine passion for plants, makes him a natural fit for sales and consulting. Whether he's working with clients or tending to his own landscape, Matt brings the same level of care and expertise. When he's not at work, you'll most likely find him outdoors with his wife and kids, exploring, gardening, or just enjoying the view.
Michele Pletcher
Office Administrator
Michele Pletcher, our Office Administrator, has been with Good's since 2022 and has 17 years of industry experience. She oversees our customer service team, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, going to live music venues, and watching F1.
Sam Hanmer
Manheim Operations Manager / Arborist Sales Representative

Sam Hanmer is a graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology, where he earned degrees in Horticulture and Landscape Technology. He began his career with Good's Tree and Lawn Care in 2013 as part of the ground crew, where he developed a passion for pruning small trees and shrubs. Sam advanced into a sales role and is now the Operations Manager of the Manheim office. Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time outdoors. He enjoys hunting and sporting clay shooting, as well as spending time on the water, boating and fishing. At home, he spends his time gardening, doing house projects, and watching sports. He and his family, and beloved dog Jaxon, live in Mount Joy and enjoy spending time with their family and friends.

Tony Kyler is a highly skilled ISA Certified Arborist with an impressive 32 years of experience in the green industry. A proud graduate of Penn State University, where he earned a degree in Forest Technology, Tony has dedicated his career to helping others navigate plant-related issues and promote healthy green spaces. An avid outdoorsman, Tony finds joy in all aspects of nature, whether he's exploring the woods or enjoying time on the water. His passion for the environment extends beyond his professional life; he is deeply committed to fostering a love for nature in his family. Tony is happily married to his wife, Ruthann, and together they are raising two wonderful boys, Colton and Reed. In his spare time, Tony enjoys a variety of hobbies that reflect his love for the outdoors and craftsmanship. He is an enthusiastic ultra-marathon runner, embracing the challenge of long-distance running. Additionally, he has a keen interest in sawmilling and woodworking, where he combines his skills to create beautiful, functional pieces from timber.
Ross Good

With over 10 years of experience in the green industry, Ross plays a key role in supporting both the lawn care management and finance teams at Good's. He holds a bachelor's degree in Agribusiness from Clemson University and is going for his MBA specializing in Family Business at Etown College, bringing a strong foundation in business and agriculture to the operational side of our work. Ross is passionate about the people and culture that make the company thrive, and he values the relationships built with both customers and team members. His dedication to excellence and attention to detail help ensure that both our services and business operations run smoothly. Outside of work, Ross enjoys all things outdoors and is in the early stages of starting a tree farm, combining his love for nature with his entrepreneurial spirit.
